Summary: The Best Deal It seems the best from all aspects because it includes every state of the art feature such as Ci7, more than enought RAM and HDD, four ports of USB 3.0, FHD and touch Display, internal DVD-RW, Backlit KB, Stereo speakers, 2GB Graphic RAM, etc. (everything I was looking for). But its battery is NOT USER REPLACEABLE.
Summary: Great laptop. Specs are amazing and really show when it comes to laptop performance. Weight is about 5lbs and the screen is brilliant. Only con I have is the hard drive is easy to rattle.. I know this because of the toshiba alert that comes on when I move the laptop to any extent. You can turn this notification off but it's alarming to know the hard drive rattles so easy. The program alerts you telling you that measures are taken to prevent loss of data to the HD.
Summary: The specs for this laptop are listed wrong... The processor is i7 "4720" not i7"4710" and the clock speed is 2.60 Ghz not 3.60 Ghz... But all around its a pretty good machine.. Not the best for really strong games but still does its job. Computer gets pretty hot right on the side where the fans are, blows out very hot air when processors get going. With a lot of tweaking u can get the display to look decent, out the box everything is really small and hard to see.
Summary: I'm very frustrated with this computer. I bought this new in March and now, in December, it will be heading to the shop for the third time. The keys stop working. Currently only one key is not working, however, sometimes a whole diagonal isn't working. This was the same problem before. Very disappointed here.
Summary: We have been loyal Toshiba Laptop buyers for the past several years. I was so tempted to spend the extra money and get a MAC for my photography business, but wanted to keep with a brand that we have grown to like. My husbands computer is great and its a Toshiba. There is just something bad about this computer and I wish I could return it for a full refund and buy the MAC.
Pros: First off the quality of images and video is great. The weight of the computer is comfortable and it doesn't get very hot on the side from the fans while using it.
Cons: The battery life last about an hour if we are lucky. The sound is barely there. Watching a movie or playing music while you work you can barely hear the sound. Yes, the Resolution is HIGH, but if you order on a ROES system from a photo lab you will have a hard time seeing anything in the system. Even after contacting the photo lab it still is difficult to work with. Photoshop, your need to change some settings so you can actually see the word "file". It freezes up ver...
Excerpt: This laptop was purchased for work use at my office, with the ability to take it home or on a business trip as required. Toshiba initially beat out the Asus as it had the 4K touch screen and blue-ray burner. The screed is as good as other reviews say it is, but that's where it ends. The first thing i noticed was the very glossy screen and that did take some time to get use to.
Excerpt: I use this laptop mainly for office productivity, internet researching, streaming, language learning, and shopping. It does everything that my desktop can do. But unlike my desktop, I can take this baby with me on my journeys. It's compact, light weight, and user intuitive. Though I rated it only 4 stars due it's shorten battery capacity and it's inaccessible, ease-of-access ability to switch out the battery with a spare.
