Summary: The computer works great as long asI don't use the space bar while typing anything. The space bar sometimes takes a couple of tapsto work versus inserting one space per press. This really gets annoying when I type at my full speed when typing up my papers for the master's degree.
Summary: I HATE THIS COMPUTER. DOESN'T COME WITH MICROSOFT SO ADD 100+ DOLLARS TO THE PRICE. COMPUTER WON'T LET ME DOWNLOAD MICROSOFT WITHOUT ENTERING A LIVE.COM ACCOUNT. WARRENTY DOESN'T COVER ASSISTANCE IN THIS SINCE EVERYTIME I GO TO LIVE.COM IT SAYS IT IS UNABLE TO GO TO SITE. WASTE OF MONEY. I JUST WANTED A REGULAR LAPTOP THAT HAD MICROSOFT FOR ME TO DO MY SCHOOL WORK. GOES SUPER SLOW UNLESS YOU DOWNLOAD ALL STUPID APP IT COMES WITH.
Summary: The same thing happens to me! EXCEPT my computer begins to act like it is possessed by demons. THe screen has ghost touch spots (bubbles) in several places- zooms in and out rapidly- and shakes like it has Parkinsons . (I have had this laptop for 36 days and it started this on day 3.) I have reset (factory defaults) with customer service, watched it in utility set up mode. Customer Service is horrible.
Summary: I'd like to share my experiences buying a touch screen Toshiba laptop. The screen is EXTREMELY fragile, and Toshiba will NOT cover it in their warranty for any reason. Two months after I bought it, it developed a crack in the screen. It had never fallen or had anything bad happen to it. I always put the pink foam pad in between the keyboard and screen when I closed the laptop. My laptop was used by me only and underwent NO trauma.
