Excerpt: After my old laptop started freezing, I started thinking that it was time to shop for a new laptop. After reading several tech-related websites, I decided on buying a Toshiba laptop as the brand was known for sturdy laptops.
Summary: This laptop is actually a very good laptop. I use it in the car (I'm in telecomm sales) and the 14-inch screen is the perfect size for my line of work. I did two things, which addressed two issues, and were relatively inexpensive. First, for $99 I upgraded the RAM to 8 Gb. It flies now! And secondly, I purchased a 12-cell Toshiba battery, so it has great life now, too.
Great laptop performance and features for a great price

Summary: Pros: I've owned this computer for one year now. For the price ($749.00) it's specs are amazing. For my home use it cannot be beat. Windows 7 (64 bit) Home Premium included. ---It is constructed well, it's Toshiba software, i5 Intel processor, Intel integrated graphics and 4 gb ram work well and make this laptop speedy and great for multi-tasking. ---It comes with a 500 GB 7200 rpm hard drive. The initial computer set-up was easy.
Summary: I have had this laptop for 4 months now and waited to write a review because at first I did think it was amazing, but I know that with time you see the good and bad of any electronic item. First off design overall is good is only about 1 lb lighter than larger 15.5 in screens, which doesn't bother me but I know it does bother some people. The speakers are decent, I do however have an issue with moving my laptop.
Summary: Bought this computer about 3 months ago because it seemed to be the best value for the money. I was looking for a notebook to create videos. Have re-evaluated my decision a few times since and still think it was the right choice. Pros: - good power (i5 - 64-bit) - great graphics - excellent sound from internal speakers - nice keyboard - light Cons: - The widescreen makes using some programs (ex: MS Word, IE) rather difficult because only a small portion of the useable...
Summary: If you are lucky enough to have gotten this laptop at Best Buy while on sale at $699 congratulations you did good! The laptop is so fantastic I am a bit scared I will jinx it by writing the review. The sound quality of the laptop is unreal! That has always been my biggest complaint about laptops but the Harman/Kardon speakers are so fabulous I don't know how I have survived without them!
Summary: I wanted a laptop with amazing sound quality on the go and a nice keyboard/touchpad experience for library word processing and internet use in bed. This laptop exceeds all those neeeds to perfection. Well almost, the keyboard would be amazing if it was backlit, because of the smooth chiclet style (which i am not used to yet) it can be difficult in the dark to find the function and number keys.
Summary: With 500 GB, a blu-ray player, 4 GB ram, Windows 7, a good graphics card and high quality luxury speakers, this is the perfect mid-range laptop. I purchased it at 699 at a brick and mortar store. It is fast, though not lightening fast, plenty of hard drive space, well built, great exterior feel, and meets all of the needs of the average user. Well worth any price under 800.
