Summary: Way overpriced, but if you want win7os you make the sacrifice. Battery life is another story must buy new battery look for a longer life battery, and be ready to remove alota junk that Toshiba slapped on this thing. Save yourself the trouble and don't try to pay for the microshaft office, they gladly try to download a newer version that guess what only work for win8os but they will give your money back.
Summary: So far the laptop performs as expected. I don't like the Norton it comes with as this is a memory hogg. Other than that the Windows 8 takes some getting used to. As I said though the laptop is performing as expected.
Summary: This is a pretty good laptop with a fairly big hard drive and plenty of RAM. The only thing i have to complain about so far is the keyboard. The keys are a little to far apart for me and the just feel weird. Other than that this laptop is a great buy for the the money. Also it has Windows 7, which was a selling point for me (I don't like Windows 8). The screen is plenty big and has a max resolution of 1600 x 900.
Summary: This thing does all that I ever wanted it to do and plays everything mostly on max settings. But as mentioned in another review, the earphone jack is faulty. No privacy. But all things considered, I can totally live with it.
Summary: I gave 4 stars because the AMD drivers aren't available for Toshiba (at least this model) Let me tell you that 17 inch is quite amazing, and keep this in mind: for this screen size you'd better get a 1080 resolution instead of 1600 the image isn't as vivid as you could expected, but is very fast (i change the original 6GB for Corsair 2x8GB DDR3-1600), the Toshiba value pack is a very good part of the software.
