Summary: I am a very busy working mother of two who is also a student and my husband works out of town. I purchased this computer and it took a very long time to arrive at my house. I was unable to open it for a couple of days because my life is VERY busy. When I did open it, I noticed that it was very creaky and it sounded like there are parts moving around inside of it. I spent extra money on Toshiba due to their recommendation.
Summary: at a first glance this lap top blew my mind with its sleek look, bold colors, smooth operation and break neck speed when running games, but upon further inspection, i realized that (in my opinion) windows 8 wasn't all it cracked up to be, and what was especially a bummer was the fact that it gives you hell to downgrade to a lower more familiar version. But all in all it is a steal of a buy.
Summary: Processor - 5+ Display - 4 WiFi Connector - 3 Ports - 5 Keyboard - 3 (Well, sort of...) Touch Pad - 1 (Ugh!!!) Overall - 3 1/2 I have owned this computer for a year now. This was my very first personal Laptop, so naturally I was most excited. Siblings are geeks and know quite a bit about computers, so I had consulted them first on which one I should get.
Summary: I bought this laptop as a christmas present for my parents back in 2012 so far the laptop has run like a champ no issues and my folks love it, widows 7 is great and I love the fact that it came with a few bloatware.
Summary: Well, from the time I got this laptop it gave little to no problems, and very little lag and relatively fast boot up (turn on) time. It wakes up from sleep very quickly, the graphics are relatively good, so final verdict great laptop.
