Summary: It served my pupose of using it for checking emails and sometimes watch streaming videos. However it didnt last long . The mother board and harddrive gone after 20 months of very rare usage. Usually Toshiba electronics last long but unlucky to have that dead very soon
Summary: I purchased my L755 in December of 2011. It is a nice product for the price, and at first I was thrilled with it. The only deficiency coming out of the box was the battery life. It is advertised as 4-5 hours, when in reality it only lasts that long while resting.
Summary: First, after having the computer only a few weeks, the hard drive had "bad sectors" and had to be replaced. Tech support and customer service both wanted me to take it to the Geek Squad at Best Buy, 1 1/2 hours away.
Summary: Pros: Love the new mouse. It is much faster then my desktop to boot. The WIFI instantly found and connected to my home WIFI. The design and feel is great. Cons: No keyboard back light. And there is no way to adjust the contrast. The display is a little washed out.
Summary: I have owned Toshiba laptops for over ten years. I really expected a better product when I bought this one. But it is not. My two complaints so far are the memory and the wirless network adapter. The adapter that they installed is a Realtek that is six years old and really lacks in proformance.
Summary: I did not buy from Amazon but it was less than $400 at a local brick and mortar with blue shirts. Thought this laptop was a terrific deal. After a little over 2 weeks, it wouldn't boot up. Just a black screen. Called Toshiba to send it for repairs.
