Summary: I purchased this laptop in January of 2012. I thought the value for the price, at the time, was a good deal, and since I had purchased several Toshiba laptops in the past, and always had excellent performance, durability and longevity, I dove in. This laptop received very lite usage as it was my third PC, purchased to check email and general browsing while watching tv - thus not having to go to the tower PC or other laptop in the study.
Summary: Purchased this laptop November 2011 and the hard drive has already failed. Contacted Toshiba and was told my warranty expired a month ago and there was nothing they could do. She suggested I contact an authorized repair facility and pay to have it fixed. I have never had any computer fail after only 13 months. Based on the response I received from Toshiba tech support; I will never buy any kind of Toshiba product again.

Summary: Less than a year after buying this, the computer developed an issue with an IP conflict where I could not access facebook on it (used three different browsers and also tried pinging [...] with no luck). Comcast said it was a hardware issue and told me to call Toshiba. Toshiba say it's due to a third party software issue and refused to help unless I pay them $100. I will never buy a Toshiba product again and urge anyone to avoid them at all costs.

Summary: I bought this new laptop at the end of November, 2011. Here are the issues I encountered: *. When I used copy and paste and selected some words, Microsoft Office 2010 and all browsers will stop working. *. I couldn't turn on the laptop with the full charged battery. I had to plug in the AC Adapter. If I unplug the AC Adapter, there is no power light. When I tried to turn it on again, the laptop will shut down automatically.
Summary: "Buying and receiving of laptop was top notch. But now that I actually got to use it for awhile. Let me tell you. It worked fine for a couple weeks for the price that I paid for it. But then it started shutting off on me and now it is completely DEAD. The power light turns on but nothing else works. The hard drives wont even spool up. NOTHING WORKS. DON't BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SELLER.
Summary: My touchpad has stopped working and although I have a 1 year warranty I can't seem to get the option to return my item as I recieve a message indicating that the return period expired on the 2nd April 2012. How do I have my non functioning touchpad issue resolved?
Summary: This laptop was used lightly inside for a total of three months before it stopped working. Prior to that, if you walked away from work for more than 15 minutes, the laptop would shut down and be impossible to restart. Toshiba warranty is useless. First it is a challenge to find a number in the warranty booklets that does not charge you for speaking with a tech.
Summary: The Toshiba laptop, is damaged. When you turn not start. The technical service carried and was told that the motherboard is damaged. : (I lost my money. And worse, do not live in united states. The purchase and pay for a freight company that brought me to Venezuela. Lost my money.
Summary: I have been purchasing Toshiba laptops for the last decade...never again. I bought 1 of the L755 series right after Christmas and within a couple of weeks keys started popping off the keyboard, the alt key gets stuck and you have to bang on it 3-4 times before you can type. I was a totally satisfied Toshiba user for a long time...no more.
