Question: Line-out sound, echoing

I have my computer hooked up to my TV (big screen), for ease in watching streaming movies (netflix). I've had about 1 month and the first 2 weeks it worked great. Now, it has begun playing sound in the computer as well as through the tv speakers and I have an echo (not synced). Any suggestions????
