Summary: I bought this one as it had some serious power (i7, 16 GB ram) as we do a lot of video editing. No issues there. However, the overall build quality is not all the good with some plastic edges and cheap feel.
Summary: I have purchased Toshiba's due to their higher ratings on reliability (vs Dell, HP). For those looking up specs, this model is the L55T-C5226. SO-SO Windows 8.1 / METRO This will be frustrating for those used to the start menu/desktop. . even if you have a touchscreen.
Pros: i7 processor 16gb memory 1tb drive
Cons: win 8.1 / metro 10/100 ethernet adapter not gigabit
Summary: I really like this laptop...the touchscreen is great...but after a week just not digging the mousepad at all.havent been able to get used to it..so I ended up with a wireless mouse instead...it doesnt have bluetooth, so had to order a bluetooth adapter...still waiting for it to be delivered..
Summary: This laptop has been the worst laptop purchase I have ever made. I have owned approximately 20 laptops in the past. I have lost all faith in Toshiba and will never, ever buy another one of their products. 1) The screen hinge cracked within several weeks of light use.
