Summary: I'd like to share my experiences buying a touch screen Toshiba laptop. The screen is EXTREMELY fragile, and Toshiba will NOT cover it in their warranty for any reason. Two months after I bought it, it developed a crack in the screen. It had never fallen or had anything bad happen to it. I always put the pink foam pad in between the keyboard and screen when I closed the laptop. My laptop was used by me only and underwent NO trauma.
Summary: Excellent laptop for the money. Only problem is window 8.1. Let's see how durable this laptop will be. My previous 3 satellites only lasted 3 yrs before failing. If this one fails I will have to switch brands.

Summary: NO BLUETOOTH AND NOT AS SHOWN I Bought this because I found myself out of town on an unexpected family emergency and I needed to connect via the internet. Given the price, I assumed it would have Bluetooth capabilities. I was wrong. It does not. Also, it was not as shown. The photo shows an all white laptop with a white band around the screen. What I received was a white laptop with a black band around the screen..

Summary: I have been using this lap top for school/work for about 3 weeks now and love it. The touch pad is a little sensitive, but I am still getting used to it and Windows 8. All said though, it is exactly what I need and I really love the touch screen since I am a medical student, I use it for all my diagrams for close ups.
Summary: This laptop is decent, but I definitely recommend others to make upgrades and adjustments to the laptop to better accommodate your needs. NOTE! The laptop is not all white as displayed in the listing gallery, but instead the bezel around the screen is black. Don't be deceived by the high gloss white either. Pros: 1. Flexibility when it comes to upgrades (ex: Hard Drive, RAM) 2.
