Heavy, can't tilt the screen back that far, really glossy/reflective screen, etc
7 November 2013
Summary: Besides what I mentioned in the subject, I was also bothered by the fact that a diamond lattice pattern is clearly visible on the screen with any source of glare. I don't have that issue with any other touchscreen device I have made in this decade. Not being able to tilt the screen back that far really bothered me as well, especially due to the fact the screen glare is so bad on this laptop. I did find the CPU and the integrated Intel HD 4000 GPU to be very good however.
Summary: Wow! I love my new laptop, it easy to use and carried around the features are great it gives no problems at all, I love love it this is one of the best laptop that are out there and great price too.
Summary: Each time I received this computer (3 attempts in all), something either was already wrong or quickly went wrong. The first one the screen never turned on. The second the tough pad did not work and the third time the screen arrived in terrible condition. The first 2 I blame on the computer manufacturer but the last one is 100% on Amazon for a terrible job of packaging the computer.
Summary: Had to return this item... I loved the size and feel of it, but the internet connection was so bad it bounced on and off constantly! Also the touchscreen was not very sensitive at times nor was the mouse pad.
Summary: It has been a month of trying to work with Toshiba to try to get the DVD player to work with all DVD's. The problem is not about regional DVD's but rather about the software or hardware itself. Some USA DVD's play right away and others simply spin but never play. Toshiba has been of no help thus far. Window's 8 is also a pain in the &^($% to learn and adds nothing to what i need.
Summary: Going into college I was looking for a good laptop but nothing fancy for my college budget. It's a great size, and I am starting to really like windows 8. The only thing is that the camera quality pretty much sucks, my iphone takes better pictures, but I don't really care because I don't spend time taking selfies or filming videos of myself for youtube or anything. Other than that, it's been perfect so far and was exactly what I was looking for.
Summary: Let me begin by saying that I have only owned Toshiba laptops and I have gone through three of them - and they lasted a long time, were durable, etc.. So, I got this laptop expecting the same level of quality. I was looking for a good priced touchscreen and thought I had found it - I loved the price, the size, the look (sleek), and everything worked well except the wireless. It kept dropping me off my wireless network at home and at work/school randomly.
Summary: I will break down this review into the various categories rather than just ramble on endlessly in one big review. CPU - RAM - Performance: Prior to this laptop I was using a Intel i5 2.4gHz laptop with 8GB of RAM and this Toshiba easily equals the performance of the "better" CPU and higher RAM availability. Multitasking is not a problem so far for this laptop.
