Summary: I had the same problem with this model. It freezes constantly, sometimes it unfreezes and sometimes I have to restart my computer. After two weeks, it just wouldn't turn on. I also exchanged it thinking it was just the computer, but the second computer was the same.
Summary: At the first look it seems a perfect laptop, beautifull, easy to work, light, but the first time that I turned it on, wow the mouse pad was frozen and not just for the first time, it happened almost every time while working .Even keyboard and sometimes whole system is frozen.
Summary: I had the freezing problem with the first machine. Exchanged it and the second one worked for a few days now touch pad freezing again. Time to exchange for another brand. BTW - I have 34 years of computer experience so it is not a question of not knowing how to work with a computer.
Summary: My friend just bought this and took it to me to install some apps she wanted and theres no way around this: it is defective. Freezes, screen has died twice in 3 days requiring the removal of the battery (which requires a screwdriver) to get it going again.
Summary: Bought this for my daughter, she loved the look of it, sleek and thin. Got the black screen of death in less than 2 weeks. Exchanged it twice more, hoping it was just a batch defect...same issues. Finally exchanged it for another brand. Don't waste your time and save yourself some aggravation.
Summary: I had the same problem as the person below me.. the mouse pad freezes I had to shut it down or close the lite to make it work and now the screen is blacked out:S The laptop is only 2 weeks old??
Summary: As soon as I started the machine the first time and started the welcome screen and setup, it froze. So I had to restart the process and it did work, but I see the mouse freeze or pause many times throughout the time I am on the laptop.
