Summary: I bought this because I didn't have a working laptop. It's Windows 8, which I'm not sure I like, and the processor is kinda puny. It's a factory refurb, and that's very good, Toshiba has top shelf support. For the price, I could not do better, so the bottom line is that I'm pleased.
Summary: Screen began to fail shortly after one year of ownership and 11 months after use as this was a Christmas gift. Toshiba expired the warranty 11 months after I bought it so they did not honor 1 year warranty. I work in the computer industry and will decide whether to buy parts and fix it or trash it.
Summary: I can't help but notice the thing most people are complaining about are unrelated to Toshiba, or this computer in particular. Most of them are actually complaints about Windows 8, or because they can't operate a computer.
Summary: Bought for my son to use at school (he is a senior in high school). Had some difficulty getting the settings correct, but after installing 46 updates it worked fine. Biggest drawback is Windows 8.
Summary: Toshiba laptops in my opinion continue to have problem with their hinges. There was a previous class action brought against Toshiba for this problem. We bought a Satellite C875-S7303, less than a year ago, and the hinge broke.
Summary: Great product for what it is .budget PC has everything the average user will need and great price use it as a desktop replacement . Toshiba always delivers even with budget units love it will buy again. Speed and storage are good big screen and good processor .
Summary: When I purchased the laptop, it worked perfectly. It has Windows 8 preloaded, which is only ok. Within 30 days of purchase, the computer would suddenly shut down a few seconds after it was powered on.
Summary: its a nice laptop i think, i have had almost 6 months now and no problems, the core i3 performs very well for a dual core processor, the only shortcomings i found were the the somewhat delicate case, and the very weak intel hd4000 graphics, however i am able to play most games out today on the more...
