Summary: This item is a bit disappointing. It is quite slow, although I found good reviews for it on the web before buying it. I must say that my older ACER is a better performing machine - running Windows Vista.
Summary: i have this computer for about 6 months now it seems to be a little bit on the slow side for the amount of money your are paying for when you could build a computer 5 times better for the same price which i am currently doing right now. i had to replace the screen on this as well as the charger.
Summary: I got this as a cheap travel laptop. It also was my first venture into Windows 8. If I had it to do over again, I would have opted for a laptop with a faster processor (it's a bit of a dog). This is after optimizing for performance to remove all of the sexy screen transition animations.
Excerpt: Tried Windows 8 hated it. Tried to downgrade to windows 7 it took about 3 days to find all the drivers and settings. Suggest if you plan on win 7 surf the internet for instructions on how to set up the bios and get all needed drivers before you start, as two of the drivers that you need to download...
Excerpt: Computer it self is compact .works well .windows 8 I don't like partly because when it was picked up at staples they don't take the time to show you how it works .so for that I give them a poor rate king on customerservicet
Cons: Difficult To Use, Hard To Set Up, Windows8 Not User Freindly
Excerpt: The laptop itself feels good. It had a nice weight to it, nice screen, sensitive keys. I dislike the feel of the pointer and the fact that it's too sensitive. As I scroll through the websites, if I lightly touch the pad, the pointer will jump all over the place and switch between screens.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Low Power Consumption, Quality Construction
