Summary: A6 performance is not that bad. Most of time the laptop is running slow because of the harddrive is running max 54000 rpm. This is how to make this laptop to run faster 1. Upgrade your harddrive to good SSD harddrive yourself 2. Upgrade your memory stick to 16 GB.
Summary: 3.5 stars isn't available but that is more accurate in my opinion. I bought it through Office Depot as they had it discounted to around $350. It's definitely worth the $350 and maybe up to $425. If you see it priced closer to $450 you may want to look elsewhere for a better value.
Summary: Reading through all the preceding excellent reviews, I find nothing that I seriously disagree with among any of the positive or negative comments. However, all must be taken in context. Your impression of this laptop will depend entirely on your expectations and your application.
Summary: I've been working on a 12" Dell XPS, which actually feels about the right size, especially for a touch screen, so I was initially overwhelmed by the size of this laptop. This beast has a 17" screen!! That's small TV size.
Summary: I wanted to really like this laptop, but it is really not that great. It does fall into a low end pricing category but it is just not up to todays standards even for an entry level computer. The trackpad has a terrible texture that rubs on your fingers.
Summary: Everything looks normal except for the following: The onboard network adapters for Ethnet and Wireless had a Driver dated back 2006. Since they are onboard, the Motherboard also got to be 10 years old in design.
