Summary: I know it is past the return policy period but I figured I would give you a chance to redeem yourself before leaving feedback. I was not happy with this transaction. I ordered this for my mother and she had not showed it to me till recently and Windows 7 was not genuine and it didn't even have the drivers to let it do anything but play games which is all my mother was doing till she wanted to get internet and she could not because it had no drivers installed or genuine...
Summary: I ordered this knowing it was refurbished, but it never booted. Damaged hard drive or something. The seller refunded me without hassle as quickly as possible, and I ended up going with a netbook instead. Here is the simple rule kids: when it comes to electronics, avoid 'refurbished'...
Summary: I bought a one-year warranty with this laptop. After 6 months the hard drive died. When I called Toshiba, I was told that my warranty was expired. I contacted the seller, who said they would contact Toshiba. A few days later I asked for an update, and the seller said they would contact Amazon (not sure why). Still no response a week later, so I asked for an update within 24 hours.
Summary: On March 18,2013 I brought a computer from T-supply. It stopped working three weeks later I took it to a business that works on computers in my area. They talked to Ben at T-Supply he told us to send computer back. So we did. Then they only wanted to give me $279.00 When I paid $475.00 They are hard to work with and very unfair.
Summary: I bought two of these for my 2 sons last Christmas. The hinges on both computers broke, maybe because the screws that hold it together keep falling out of the bottom. Very disappointed! My sons also complain about the speed. Tosiba wants me to send both in for repair but they don't promise to cover the problem and want to charge me to send them in. I am afraid it may be cheaper to buy a new computer. What a piece of junk.
Summary: I bought 2 toshiba laptops last year both of them totally crapped out shortly after warrentee expired id send them to toshiba but to fix a "minor problem" the want something like 250 dollars. i wonder what a new mother board cost.
Summary: I bought this item for my wife, although it dose not have the best specs. on the market it is just what she need something just to do some light web surfing ect. However this is the Toshiba laptop that i've regretted buying. The keyboard failed after the first couple of weeks of use. Seeing that I bought it a few weeks before actually using it, because I bought it as a surprise, I cannot return it to the sender.
