I been using this machine for the past 3 years & everything still works!

Summary: I received the laptop as a gift 3 years ago and it has done everything I want it to ... mostly. I haven't had a single functionality/repair issue. I'm use this as my main computer. The battery still holds a decent charge (@ 6 hours). Easily connects to and stays connected to wifi. For everyday use, the machine still looks/works/functions great. The processor is not the fastest.
Summary: I bought my Toshiba Satellite C655-S5212 laptop August 25. 2011 at Best Buy, so it's almost 3 years old, now. But it's been a good computer, especially for the low price of $380. RAM was cheap in 2011, so I maxed-out the RAM to 8 GB when I bought it, and the total (computer $380 + RAM $36) was just $416 + tax. I'm satisfied.
Summary: I've had this laptop since 2010 with the intent for use in college. But throughout the years of transferring schools and staying up late to study or do homework, this laptop has both meant a lot to me but has also been a curse. Outside the classroom: I wouldn't want use this laptop as my main computer; it has a rather small hard drive and the RAM, CPU, and video card are terrible by today's standards.
Great, functional, laptop, that performs well for the money!!!!

Summary: Bought this laptop for my daughter. It is nicely configured laptop and handles all the task that I required of it thus far. Keyboard is spacious and provides a ten key setup to the right of the keyboard. This laptop compared to other Toshiba's that I own is slightly smaller but not to the point that it fills cramped. The screen display is great for a 15.6, and is displays very vivid images.
Great product, truly a good deal for the money and I can actually use it.

Summary: Bought this item for parts, however it turned out to be in better shape than the one I had. Once I transferred all of the good parts from mine this laptop performed great, better than expected and did more than I expected it to be able to do. Thoroughly enjoyed having a seperate number key area since my laptop didn't have one.
Summary: I had one before and loved it. The main feature I bought it for was the 10 key on the side. Some of the keys are a little sticky but I did buy it used. I plan on replacing the keyboard at a later date.
Summary: I needed a new laptop as my old one was in its final death throes. I had had a Toshiba Satellite and got a mileage out of it, and so this seemed a natural choice, especially for the price. The machine has basically everything I need for writing, internet surfing, and playing movies and music. Other than the speakers being too quiet for my tastes, my one major gripe, and it's enough to ding a star, is that the mousepad is ludicrously over-sensitive.
Summary: I purchased this computer used for $260 dollars. I installed 8 GB RAM for $50 and a solid state disk drive (SSD) for $125 dollars. So, for a $435 dollar investment I now have a nice laptop that boots windows in 10 seconds. The B960 isn't an i7 by any means, but I have an Acer i7 with a similar configuration of memory and SSD disk and this Toshiba does what I need it to do just fine. I have no complaints.
