Summary: Seller was great, but item was not in the condition described online. The right hinge for the screen is extremely loose. Because of this the screen will only stay upright if put in certain positions. This is very disappointing and I would not have purchased this laptop if I would have known about the condition. Other than that the laptop runs just fine.
Summary: I bought this laptop for school not too long ago. The specs aren't too terribly impressive, but it gets the job done for the most part. The build quality is not very good, even for the low price I paid for it. First, after having the laptop for about 6 months, one of the hinges broke and the screen came loose. Every time I closed it, I had to squeeze the end so the hinges would allign.
Summary: What I liked was no different than any other laptop would offer. I3 . windows 7, and it's plenty fast. That's where I stop though. First I noticed the new fancy futuristic hinge for the screen. As the lid opens, the hinge design wraps the bottom of the screen behind and under the laptop. Trying to be low profile and sleek they just wasted all the space of the back of the unit. Now you can't have any USB or anything plugging into the back.
Summary: The hinge on the left hand side binds, and has caused the body of the laptop to separate. Now my screen rocks back and forth when opening up the LCD screen. It's only a matter of time before the connections get loose to the LCD. Pros: -Cost Cons: -lower end laptop -Cheap plastic design -Dreadfully slow HD -Bloatware You get what you pay for, plain and simple. Avoid Toshiba products, there is so many better companies out there. as a computer it is fine.
Summary: I owned a previous version of this computer which I really liked. The first thing you need to know is that this computer requires a fairly unique power source so if you want to order extra power cables, it is going to be a pain and expensive. The computer itself has a long lasting battery, is fast, and has beautiful graphics. I love the light up keyboard but do not get any liquids anywhere close to it.
Summary: I guess I get what I pay for. Processor pretty slow with both Firefox and Explorer. Other programs (both installed on laptop, and a couple of other ones I Installed) run ok. Computer drags a little based on current computer's speed/processors available on the market.
