Summary: Stuff like this really bothers me. You pay a few hundreds of dollars for a computer, you expect it to last at least a year. This last about 3 months before it started crashing, failing, stalling, etc. Toshiba does not include a recovery disk with the pc, in case it crashes. It's poorly made, inside and out. Inside, it easily crashes, there's not enough space, the software stalling drove me insane, etc.
Summary: save yourself some time & money, this is the worst laptop I've ever owned. A total piece of garbage. Screen broke after 3 months of regular use. Toshiba stated they wouldn't replace or repair as I must have caused the damage to the machine, even though I did not drop or misuse this machine at ALL. Customer support totally useless. I will not buy from Toshiba again.
Summary: Terrible. So slow, crashes constantly. Video is grainy. sound tinny. I haven't downloaded any viruses, looked at a single page of porn. Yet still it acts like it's been through the wars and i've only had it for 1 week. Don't buy it. With age I am really learning that you should'nt skimp on things. Most things that are cheap, are cheap for a good reason. Because they are terrible. DON'T buy it.

Summary: This item was delivered broken with the screen cracked. It was dead on arrival. We were NOT ALLOWED TO RETURN THE ITEM as we have attempted several times to contact the seller and have been IGNORED!! The laptop is unusable and we already paid for it!! We are extremely distraught and feel cheated by the seller, Secondipity, which will not only give a broken item to a customer, but ignore their request to return or exchange the computer.
Summary: Before you buy this product google all of the screen problems they have. Toshiba will not fix this. They just keep sending it back to you, it will work for a week or less and go out again. I have finally given up. Toshiba wants to charge me $300 to fix it again ( after going out 3 times before) I will NEVER BUY TOSHIBA AGAIN!!!
Summary: Unit was purchased to eventually take over for an older Windows XP machine. Laptop was very slow compared to older unit to start, then the hard drive went bad before the unit could even be fully set up & it won't boot up. Unfortunately I didn't get around to running it until after the 14 days were up for refund & did not purchase an extended warranty. IT tech working on it now said it was bad right out of the box.
Summary: This laptop crashed less than 2 weeks after I purchased it as a Christmas gift for myself. Not dropped or otherwise mishandled. Registered my warranty 3 TIMES with customer service (registration was always "lost" even though I had a reference number for each call). Toshiba required that I spend hours on the phone with tech support after each registration to attempt a cyber repair. Always told a return mailer (at my own expense) was on it's way. STILL WAITING!
