Summary: Nice laptop, good screen and works well. One flaw - touch-pad is retarded. It does not work well unless you dumb it down and unselect the glide, momentum, pinch, and only allow scroll up and down on right hand of pad. After you do this it works pretty well. Guess Toshiba tried to get too fancy with their touch pad and fell short of the mark.
Summary: I am not a tech kind of person so I will not try to advice on the various features of this device. This review is for one reason only, do not turn on the automatic update and do not update every suggestion windows make. This comes from the experience of doing this, it messes up the system causing it to freeze up at the most inconvenient time. I had to get in touch with Toshiba for them to work on the machine for me. After this was done it works well.

Summary: It's pretty solid and Windows 8 is actually a lot more user-friendly than I initially thought. Sometimes it has strange glitches like buttons not working or programs not responding, but these go away when I reset. I'll be interested to see how it holds up long term, but for the price I'm happy with it and able to write my college papers, surf the web, listen to music and everything I want to.
Summary: I got this for use in the office to replace an old Lenovo T60 that was showing its age and the fan on the old laptop started making noise. I hate noise from computers. So, I got this one as a replacement which I use as a second computer for personal emails, Skype, and the occasional movie when things are slow.
Summary: My old laptop was heavy on my lap compared to this one. I love the nice color on the screen and switching screens when I need to. Windows 8 is a little difficult but I'm still learning. Over all I like it for the price.
Summary: I ordered last week and got it yesterday. The screen as a long scratch on it, so I'll be taking it back and ordering another. In the meantime I'm running it through its paces and I'm impressed.
