Summary: I got this laptop last year as a graduation gift. I had no problems with until it decided to update. After it updated it began to act weird. It would be really slow sometimes or it would refuse to go on the internet. Whenever it did that I always ran a virus check and I always came up clean.
Summary: My last five laptops have been Toshibas. I bought Toshibas for three daughters for graduation gifts. This one may be my last. Some of the problems I'm experiencing may be the fault of Windows 8.1. But some are definitely not. What I don't like. 1. The surface of the case shows every fingerprint.
Summary: I bought this laptop in November. I used it for my internship, some lighter gaming, school work, and basic chat features (like Skype) Pros: It's a budget computer. The price is cheap. The wi-fi range is pretty phenomenal for the price and having a full numpad is a must for my computer use.
Summary: Nice keyboard, good hardware from Intel, good price, but the Toshiba BIOS has a bug that prevents the Windows Hibernation feature to work when the BIOS password or hard drive password are in use. I called Toshiba support, and they said that this behavior was "by design".
Summary: I like Toshiba...I returned this one and bought another model. Don't know if it was the laptop or the software, but had trouble the first week with several screen freezes and my Office program was not working properly.
