Excerpt: I bought a used one for a really good deal which came with a wireless card (a must have), and a 768MB RAM upgrade. The laptop runs amazing, way better than my desktop and runs photoshop cs2 very smoothly. Great laptop, easy to use, decent battery life, and nice and light. The screen is very nice and so are the built in speakers, very good quality for a laptop. The volume control (left side at the front) of laptop is also very handy.
Excerpt: I really like this laptop, it is my first pc. i got it in 2007 and it still works great, granted i had to use the recovery disks a few times. the best part is it was really easy to get started, about 6 months ago i broke the lcd screen and had to replace it, i decided to put off replacing the lcd screen and purchased a flat screen monitor.
Excerpt: My husband bought this laptop before we met 3 years ago, I think he has had it for 4 years now or so. Never have issues, the satellite is great for travel, and if it ever completely dies and we need something else, it will more than likely be another Toshiba with the Satellite:)

Excerpt: I loved my New Toshiba Laptop so much that a few days latter I kmew if I was going to get to keep it I had better go and get another one for my husband. I have now gotten a third for my oldest son for a gradustion present and am planning on getting a FOURTH one for my other son for a Christmas gift ! I love the idea of cleaning off all those desk tops and messy cord pile ups all tangledrunning under and over and through their rooms.
Excerpt: Being visually impaired, finding a computer especially a laptop that I can work with has been extremely challenging. The Toshiba has one of my favorite features that I have not found on any other laptop. At least not at time of purchase. while Vista comes with it's own built in software for enlarging things, the fact that it splits a screen makes me nausaus. The Toshiba offers a dropdown menu that allos you to choose from 3 different font sizes. I LOVE this feature,...
Excerpt: It’s basically a laptop like any others but it functions great so I guess that is good. I’m a bit concern about the battery life however. It says it lasts around 4 hours, but I was using it for like an hour and 50% of the battery was gone. What the heck? It was charged full too and I wasn’t really using it before. It also lasts only about 2 hours if you’re using it to play games or videos or whatever else.
Excerpt: "My dad lent me a laptop so that I could do some writing on it and read my daughter stories. It was only borrowed whilst I could afford a new one. I was quite shocked by the poor quality of it. Not like other computer's I had, had before. However, my dad was lending it to me, so I could not complain. There are some good points as well as the bad. First of all, it works and for some reason I've ended up with one. My husband was out shopping and spotted ...
Pros: Great price, good machine, works well, easily stored
Cons: Can get over heated, turns off the Internet at random, temperamental
Summary: The Toshiba Equium A100-147 serves as a good basic laptop. All the basic needs are covered including good memory storage, easy usage, portable and light, and is rather stylish. I have used this laptop for 2 years now and I write alot of documents and do alot of research, I have found it to be very reliable, very fast and easy to use. I particularly like the keypads as they are really smooth and not clunky. The mouse pad never sticks and provides easy navigation.
Excerpt: "I have used this laptop for about 3 years now and it is working just as well now as it was back then, although i am only a casual user. It has a standard 4:3 screen, which i prefer to the 16:9 screen favoured in most of the newer models of laptop. the keys on this laptop are well defined and easy to use and are easy on the fingers, the touch sensitive control pad is very sensitive by default, but this can bed adjusted, but for me the default setting ...
