Summary: Hi, I own a Qosmio X300. I had to send it 3 times for overheating issues. Recently, i planned to buy a I7 laptop and my choice went finally for a Asus G75VX. Before buying it, i read reviews regarding new generation Qosmio laptops and i have to say i was dissapointed that the overheating issue was still existing on Qosmio laptops. Really sad because, i love my Qosmio and wanted to stay with this brand.
Summary: FIXed the HEAT problems, Bought a super quiet Thermaltake MASSIVE 23 GT which sits neatly under the Qosmio X870 Gaming rig and Keep it COOL while you a pushing it as hard as you can!! :) Beautiful!!
Summary: Generally I like it, but I have to find way to keep it under temperature of shutting down, he is overheating. I use CM U3 under it, and still nothing is better. Right palm rest is too hot while graphics are at max. Hot air is going out at right side, where I usually use my mouse. Toshiba made a lot of mistakes, they should make a revision with next one. I'll buy G75VX next because Asus avoided those mistakes that Toshiba made. So disappointing for 2K of Euros.
Pros: gaming, 3d, sound, design
Cons: overheating, right palmrest place hot, shutting down because of heat
Summary: Watcher, I can see you do not actually own one! Sorry your review is a little unfair I believe :) I have had my Cosmio X870 since Christmas 2012 and like the promo add for the product saying it will be just as good after 365 days, is not an understatement by any means! Yes, $3 G's is big money here in Australia too but as a desktop replacement it fits the bill perfectly!
Pros: 3D Vision, 17" FHD(120Hz), Quad Core 3630X Processor, Bray!
Cons: Battery Life, Heat from right side Vent rather hot when 3D Gaming

Summary: Hallo, Also wie soll ich anfangen..
