Summary: The power of this computer is nice and there are nice features - i.e. I end up using the backlit keyboard a lot. However, the negatives outweigh the positives, especially considering its fairly high price. There has been a long list of quirks, such as occasionally getting the blue screen of death when flash is playing, sometimes the mouse pad will freeze up after I wake it up from hibernation, the battery life seems a lot less than advertised, and the wireless antenna is...
Summary: I got the laptop on time and it wasn't damaged or anything like that. The computer works great after I download all the drivers that it didn't have such as WiFi and Graphics (Nvidia) drivers that's the only disappointing thing about it!! I shouldn't have to go through all that when I bought this laptop!! Other then that its an awesome laptop its super fast and can run any game you put in it I recently installed Battlefield 3 and Far Cry 3 and graphics are amazing!!
Summary: This product is full of bells and whistles. I have several complaints, however. It is extremely heavy and difficult to move around. The electrical cord does not have a secure connection to the computer and often comes off. The click of the mousepad when in use is very distracting and can be irritating to others. It does run very hot when using high graphic programs.
Summary: Wanted a laptop and my husband got me this one, way more than I need or use, but really great. I really love the keys lighting up when I hit them. Really makes a differance. Don't ask me any tech questions, I really have no clue!
Terrible support - I wasted 20 hours and had to send back

Summary: After owning one Toshiba and having very good luck with it, I ordered one of these high-end laptops. Toshiba P870 to be my all around computer. After spending 20 hours setting it up I tried to rip a CD. The drive is not recognized. After searching the issue it sounds like this is a common occurrence with this model. After several aggravating hours on the phone with support I am still having issues. The only thing they would do for me is send me to a paid support service.
Summary: I bought a Qosmio X775-3Dv80 after Xmas from Amazon in 2011. Screen went bad the first week. Amazon sent me a new one. 3D and display card went south 2 weeks later on the second one. Amazon sent me another replacement. Kudos for Amazon!!! Wifi went out 3 weeks later on the 3rd one. Called Toshiba instead of Amazon. Toshiba repaired it (reinserted the wifi card). 5 months later, wifi crapped out again. Sent back to Toshiba. Toshiba repaired and sent it back.
Summary: Qosmio is a Monster laptop but I really surprised by the cheap materials that they used to build the laptop from it feels like cheap plastic. the performance was amazing I played NFS The Run on high and it was perfect.
Summary: I'm loving this laptop. I got this primarilly for 3-d gaming and movies. If you put most games in the extreme mode, turn off things like antialiasing, ambient occlusion, 1080p 3d can render around 30fps. 2d game @ 1080p can render 60+ fps with same settings. Screen is beautiful, 1080p @ 120hz, this machine can give many desktops a run for their money(I got this on sale for $1299). My only complaint is share by many others, the battery is useless.
