Summary: I upgraded the harddrive to 256, the memory to 6GB by replacing one 2GB with a 4GB, and the wireless card to Advance-N/BT. Works great with Win7 - even does corporate network security required configuration. Keyboard started peeling after three months, just sent in for $250 out-of-warranty Toshiba replacement. Great laptop, terrible keycap coating.
Summary: I bought two Toshiba Z935-P300 Portege Ultrabook 13.3" Laptops at different times. One blue screened at a month, luckily the warranty covered it. The other one at 15 months and out of warranty, blue screened and went down hill from there. Toshiba wants $390 for a "major repair" and fees go up depanding on the problem. I love the light weight design, great keyboard with backlight, but everything is plastic and both laptops have small fractures by the hinges.
Best Ultrabook, Amazing at this Price, Backlit Keys, Powerful, Tough

Summary: owned one for over a year now and loved it, i just bought a second one. amazingly light at 2.5 lbs, quiet and powerful, it has tolerated traveling constantly, being thrown into bags, onto security conveyors or into the back seat and dropped occasionally with no problems! it runs several data streaming programs simultaneously and is just the best machine i have ever had for the money. They are unavailable through toshiba and generally hard to find so keep your eyes open.
Summary: I gave this computer to my daughter last year for a Holiday present. She is an engineering student. She told me that this one of her favorite presents - ever. It has not blue-screened, it has not had a power source issue, it has not failed in any manner. One issue that has come up is the Office has 'expired' she said and I have to research that - I thought I bought the Office for it.
Summary: I was looking for a slim, affordable laptop with a good battery life. This met all of those requests. I am satisfied, but there are a few drawbacks: Sound quality leaves a bit to be desired on mid to high levels Hard drive memory space is small There's a bit of a learning curve when typing on the keyboard Only 3 USB ports Other than that, I've got no complaints. Battery life is excellent, although I've only had it for a month or so.
2nd place for horrible quality in 23 years of CS work.

Pros: The computer is very light, thin and compact, making it easy to carry around.
Cons: Absolutely horrible quality., Incredibly flimsy casing breaks on the edges of display when taken apart to replace screen (that broke because the display has no steel or aluminum base.), Extreme sacrifices in durability make it unsuitable for use.
Summary: I was happy with my new laptop, it's very slim, very fast, and has a good cpu and enough RAM memory. The problem was that I've got to pay more local taxes than they told me, so be careful when you buy something from the USA if you're from Europe.
Summary: Lite lite lite, just what my back needed. My small computer bag is heavier than the computer. I really love this little machine. The 128 G drive is a bit small and I expect I will upgrade it. Very fast computer, probably due to the SSD. 4 G memory seems fine. I am soooo happy with my Toshiba.
