Toshiba Portege Z935-P300 is a very nice ultrabook

CNET
5 October 2012
  • Summary: The Toshiba Portege Z935-P300 is an excellent ultrabook value if you can overlook its few design shortcomings.
  • Pros: The Toshiba Portege Z935-P300 has very good features, performance, and battery life for its price and is very thin and very light.
  • Cons: The Z935-P300's keyboard may be too small for some users and the laptop doesn't feel particularly sturdy, especially the lid/display.

Toshiba Portege Z935-P300 Ultrabook review

Techworld
4 October 2012
  • Summary: The Toshiba Portégé Z935 Ultrabook is a decent laptop. For some business users, such as those who go to a lot of meetings and make basic presentations, it will be a pretty good laptop. After all, it's lightweight, is a solid overall performer, and has several nice hookup options, including VGA and HDMI, as well as WiDi and Bluetooth. For other business users - those who travel often and want to get work done on the fly - the Portégé Z935 is a poor choice.

  • Conclusion: The Toshiba Portege Z935-P300 is an ultrabook that makes very few concessions in the name of lightweight and thin construction. It's a powerful system with a very good battery life, and it's our new Editors' Choice for mainstream ultrabook laptops.
  • Pros: Very Light. Very thin. Good battery life. Speedy SSD. Full sized HDMI, Ethernet, and VGA. Good benchmark performance.
  • Cons: Chrome mouse buttons attract fingerprints. Could use another USB 3.0 port.

Toshiba Portege Z935-P300 Review

LAPTOP Magazine
26 September 2012
  • Summary: The Toshiba Portege Z935-P300 is an Ultrabook to be reckoned with. Like last year's version, it's super-light at 2.4 pounds, but a stronger performer, thanks to the combination of a third-gen Intel Core processor and faster SSD. We just wish the keyboard offered a bit more travel and that Toshiba offered a higher-resolution display. Overall, though, the Z935's design, port selection and speed earns it high marks.
  • Pros: Lightest 13-inch Ultrabook, Strong performance with fast SSD, Speedy boot time, Good battery life
  • Cons: Key travel somewhat shallow, Reflective screen,
