Toshiba Portege Z930

thinkdigit.com
7 June 2013
  • Summary: When Toshiba updated the Portege Z830 with the newer processor, they just changed to the newer processor. The form factor, the rest of the specs and most importantly, the very light build remained as it is. And that keeps the Z930 as the lightest ultrabook money can buy. Performance wise, it is at par with the rest of the ultrabooks. And the alternatives you could consider include the Samsung Series 9 Ultra and the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon.
  • Pros: Very slim and light, Non reflective display, Good keyboard for marathon typing sessions, Good battery life
  • Cons: Port placement behind the display is annoying, Rivals offer better display resolution numbers, Slightly boring persona

Review Toshiba Portégé Z930-105 Ultrabook

Notebookcheck
8 January 2013
  • Summary: Ultra-slim business. Striking looks, low weight, long runtimes and first-rate connections. Sounds like the perfect business qualities. However, there are shortcomings in details. Why is the premium claim not met?
  • Pros: Very lightweight, Solid base unit, Matte surfaces, Rear-sided ports, High application performance, Very swift SSD, 100% performance on battery power, Usually quiet fan, Low heat dissipation, Bright, matte screen, The low weight and the base unit's stiffness. The pliable lid is not distracting in routine use, but its flexibility is a kind of crumple zone.
  • Cons: Tight viewing angle, Non-removable battery, Weak typing feedback, Virtually inexistent mouse key drop, No docking port, Input devices are the most crucial elements in business. However, the build prevents a longer key drop for better feedback. The virtually unusable mouse buttons (almost no drop) is however an impertinence in this price range.

Toshiba Portege Z930 review: a business-oriented Ultrabook with good features, an impressively light weight and thin chassis

Good Gear Guide.au
23 December 2012
  • Summary: Toshiba's thin-and-light Portege Z930 ships with business features such as a vPro chipset, biometrics and integrated 3G, in addition to a useful range of built-in ports. It could use a better screen, touchpad and keyboard, but its overall usability is still quite good and it's a fine Ultrabook to travel with on a daily basis.
  • Pros: Core i7 CPU, Fast SSD, Built-in HDMI, VGA, Ethernet, Battery life
  • Cons: Screen's viewing angles, Touchpad could be better, No keyboard backlight, Only one USB 3.0 port

Test: Toshiba Portégé Z930-105 (Notebook)

CHIP Online
20 November 2012
  • Pros: Sehr hohe Leistung, Extrem leicht, Gute Ausstattung, Sehr helles Display
  • Cons: Laufzeit könnte länger sein

Toshiba Portégé Z930 im Test

connect
19 November 2012
  • Cons: Touchpad schwach

Toshiba Portege Z930-11C

DinSide.no
19 October 2012
