Review Toshiba Portégé R930-13F Subnotebook

Notebookcheck
29 January 2013
  • Summary: Inexpensive Portégé. HP has the EliteBook, Dell the Latitude, Lenovo the ThinkPad T-Series and Toshiba has the Portégé. After the ultrabook companion Z930 we review the thicker R930 with the same form factor. A bargain for 777 Euros (~$1051)?
  • Pros: Durable surfaces, Lightweight, good runtimes, Keyboard with good feedback, Many ports incl. docking station, Bright, matte panel, The low weight and reasonable stability of the base (honeycomb structure) are still unrivaled in the 13-inch business class. Consider the business capable port variety including the DVD drive. The runtime does not suffer from the weight, just the opposite.
  • Cons: Plastic feel, Humming hard drive, Delicate, flexible cover, Very little mouse button travel, Low contrast, small viewing angles, An option for a high quality IPS panel with rich colors and better viewing angles. At least for versions over 1,000 Euros.

TEST: Toshiba Portégé R930 - Helt vanlig pc?

PC World
2 July 2013
  • Pros: God batteritid. God konstruksjon. Støtte for dokking.
  • Cons: Tastatur. Lav skjermoppløsning.
