The Toshiba Portege R700 is a notebook that is powered by Intel® Core™ processor that is ideal for multitasking and comes with a built-in optical drive for loading programs, back-ups and sharing work. Designed in a thin-and-light form factor with magnesium casing with honeycomb rib structure, the Toshiba Portege R700 incorporates a series of design points that optimizes the PC to perform longer and cooler. It features DVD SuperMulti optical drive that lets users load programs, share work and back-up data. Weighing three pounds, the Toshiba Portege R700 is powered by a battery that provides users with up to eight and a half hour of battery life. The Toshiba Portege R700 also features shock-absorbing design which protects the PC’s components such as the Hard Drive Impact Sensor.
