Excerpt: I love this netbook. I use it all the time. It is portable to anywhere which makes it really easy to fit in my work bag and I don't have to have a huge 17inch laptop bag. The only thing that does take some getting used to is the smallness of the screen and keyboard. I love how the netbook has the same features I can get using my laptop but in a smaller case. My husband and I went on trip a few weeks back and with the limited space that is on an airplane it was nice...
Excerpt: This is rather a great piece of machine.I have had the pelasure to use this for a project with a friend, and other than the weight, it is great. The fan access is not pleasing. I want ease to it for proper cleaning as much as possible. Just for proper care and maintenence. Reviewer received a sample of this product.
Excerpt: I usually have this one at my hip for a wide variety of things from work to utilizing my time when running kids to practices. It does have a smaller screen to get used to, but the ease of being able to throw in your purse and take with you, or store in small places is well worth. Its a quality brand that I had never experience before, and am impressed.
Excerpt: The toshiba mini was a great surprise to me ,because of its size i expected it to be slow and useless. the toshiba prove me wrong . I hate pc's and laptops that cant keep up but to be cheesy the toshiba mini is the little laptop that could point blank period !
Excerpt: The toshibia mini has great features. It's light, just pick it up and take along every where you go. Keep in touch with your friend's on facebook or just check your email. Can fit in a purse, or carry like a book. The cons, would be it's screen is small, but it get's the job done.
Excerpt: I use this netbook for my college courses. It is very light and convenient to take to class, and it fits right on the small little lecture desks for quick and efficient note taking. Overall, it is a great netbook for a great price of less than $300. It is very fast, easy to use, turns on quickly and very affordable. It weighs less than most textbooks. However I hate that the keyboard sometimes jams, and one of my keys fell off very quickly.
Excerpt: So this is definitely not a computer you'd purchase as a desktop replacement or even for a heavy user, such as a college student spending all their time on the computer or trying to do gaming also. It's best as a very lightweight, on the go type of computer, such as for taking to class or for those jet-setters who may need a very lightweight computer for business, perhaps to use on the plane to write up proposals. Unlike the older netbooks, which used Linux, this one...
Summary: I needed a light weight computer for business travel. This one fits the bill. With 2 GB RAM it is fast and responsive, and does everything I need it to do. Design is attractive (although I wish the battery didn't stick out). The Windows 7 Starter is perfectly adequate. I was particularly impressed with how easy it was to connect to my home wireless network. Great value for a very small price.
Pros: Compact, Fast, Good Battery Life, Lightweight
Summary: I primarily use it for web browsing. The size is perfect for use on a flight where space is constrained. 6-cell battery gives sufficiently long battery life. Should have had at least 2gb of ram to boost performance. Struggles with hd videos on youtube.
Pros: Compact, Easy to use mouse pad, Good Battery Life, Lightweight, Size
Summary: I use this product for school. This is great when you don't want to go to the school library but maybe to a place where they have wi-fi. It picks up on any wifi that the place has hooked up. You don't need to download any software because when you plug in a printer or cd player it automatically downloads the software for you. So smart.
