Summary: I won't ever buy a Sony laptop computer again. I have been using them for years. Sony has an impossibly confusing array of model numbers and does not support products and software for more than three years. You can't even buy batteries for models that are three years old. Maybe you want to buy a new laptop every three years, I think it is a waste of time and money.

Summary: My wife has used the Sony VPCEA36FM/W laptop for about 3 or 4 years, she likes it. I bought it for $100 with a cracked screen and bad hard drive. Since I repair laptops as a hobby I was able to replace the screen and hard drive. Other problems that have occurred is the left mouse button stopped working.
Summary: This computer is excellent in every respect except that it has a ventilation problem. As a result the computer overheats and the monitor has problems (black bars, multi-colored bars blocking the screen and the images). I would recommend getting a computer with all of these features, maybe even from Sony, but make sure the computer has adequate ventilation. Speaking with an expert may be necessary.
Summary: This is a great laptop, my previous laptop was a 17 inch gateway n54 and this is so much more convenient(size wise). The keyboard is just amazing the only thing i wish this laptop had was a back lit keyboard. The fun things you can do with the camera are good for whenever your bored. You can't pass this up with a i3, blue ray player, hdmi.... this has to many new features to list P.S.
Summary: Had a small problem with a conflicting listing description but am happy with the product and the customer service I am getting in resolving this description conflict has been entirely positive. I recommend both the computer and the seller. The computer is listed in some places as an i5 processor and it is really an i3 processor.
