Summary: I bought this a few years ago for my wife while I was in Afghanistan, this laptop had everything she wanted and has been reliable and robust(she's hard on electronics) the only complaint would be I didn't buy one for myself.
If internet is important then this is NOT the laptop for you!

Summary: When I first got this laptop I was quite excited about the features that it included. HOWEVER, connecting to any sort of internet is an absolute nightmare. I have taken this laptop to numerous different places (Uni library, Starbucks, friend's houses) and can it connect to a wifi....no! I have tried every Vaio update, even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, but all of it was in vain.
Summary: After I posted a bad review, Sony techs worked with me to get the laptop up and running before the warranty expired. Apparently there was a bad file or missing file which caused an error stating that my operating system was missing. I worked for a company and they believed in Sony products and that was why I purchased a Sony laptop. So my laptop is up and running smoothly like it should, finally after weeks of working with the techs.
Summary: Product arrived on time and as advertised. Great price on the refurbished model. There are a few glitches in switching from a Mac to a pc. Macs are more intuitive. I find it really annoying to barely skip across one of the ads and the damn thing pops up. You have to actually click on it for it to pop up on a Mac. That being said the graphics are great, the HD screen is awesome. Having an HDMI connection to link to a TV is very convenient.
