Summary: So far, so good. Amazon is requesting this review only 3 weeks after receiving the laptop so it's too soon to tell if it has any quirks. The only thing I would like to see different is that they install an "off" key for the scroll pad. I use a wireless mouse instead, so don't touch the scroll pad with your fingers or wrist.
Summary: I've used Sony laptops in the past and have been very pleased. I have been very unhappy with the HP that I have used for the last year. Had 3 within my family and they were awful. I decided to puchase a Sony. So far, I like it except that the SD card slot does not work. I have spoken with 3 different support staff that includes via email, chat, and phone and no-one has helped me. First, they have no-one that speaks English clearly enough to help.
Summary: I now own too many computers. I have a Sony an acer and a lenovo. all are for math programs for the medical world. I have an Asus netbook for no reason. I just bought the E series 17.3 as a play computer for emails, you tube and movies. The screen is almost as good as our sony 52" hd tv, the sound is real bad so I use head phones.
Summary: After 4 years I needed a new laptop. Shopped around and bought it at Frys for $579. Love the 17.3 inch screen. My old laptop is a Toshiba and it still works as good as ever. Only reason I did not buy another Toshiba I got such a good deal on the Sony.
Summary: Let me start by saying that I am a road warrior. My laptop is my business. Over the years I've owned laptops by Fujitsu, Toshiba, IBM, Gateway, Dell, HP and a few others. This is my first Sony. I am impressed by the build quality, the features and the pricepoint. My model came with 1920 x 1080 screen, which gives me plenty of real estate for the multi-tasking required in my job. The quad processor lets me tackle any of the business tasks.
Summary: I have to tell you, it was a tough choice to make. I have been a DELL user for a long time and because of the Sale Price that this machine came with I decided to give it a try and it is well worth it. I don't do any magical tricks with it, mostly office style work but it is such a great piece of equipment! I recommend it, very highly.
Summary: well what can i say i haven't had new piece of technology since i got my android phone, but yeah over all this Sony Vaio has done the job for me, with 4GB of Ram and a 640GB of Storage, it dose the job for and i cant complain but yeah. plenty of storage for all my videos, music, and games i play. anywho it a must buy for those are going school or for just personal use.
