Summary: THIS LAPTOP WANNABE IS THE WORST PIECE OF S***** YOU'LL EVER BUY. WE BOUGHT THIS AS A SECOND COMPUTER BECAUSE OF PRICE AND BECAUSE OF BRAND AND IT HAS BEEN A HEADACHE EVER SINCE. ITS SLOW, UNRELIABLE, CRASHES ALL THE TIME, THE VIO CARE DOESN'T WORK, CANT EVEN PLAY A DVD BECAUSE YOU CANT HEAR THE SOUND. SONY SHOULD JUST STOP SELLING IT AND I'D WISH THEY REFUND MY MONEY.
Summary: So excited when i bought this laptop, since it's Sony im expecting that it's a good product but i was wrong, first month of using it, I've been having problems on connecting through wifi, getting virus often even tho I installed anti virus software, and now 3 months later, i get this black display , windows doesnt start up... , wish i could return it back.
Summary: The money is certainly right on this deal... though let me warn you that these machines are extremely poorly built. Within one month, my machine treated windows updates like a viral infection. Each time I downloaded an update, my machine would take 15 mins to start up, 15 mins to log in and then proceed to crash due to an unexpected error. I installed my own, non-OEM copy of Win7 Ultimate which dulled the pain of this worthless trash for about 3 months.
Summary: When I first bought this laptop I thought to myself it's likely a good product; it's made by Sony. Boy was I wrong! I purchased this laptop brand new and after only the third time using it I put a DVD into the drive, closed the drawer and the drawer came apart. I have opened and closed many CD-ROM drawers from cheap used and old no-name brands to name brand and I've opened and closed CD-ROM drawers probably over three thousand times and I have NEVER seen nor experienced...
Summary: I have a Sony VAIO VGN-CS310J red laptop, looks great - works like crap! It is not even two years old and already I have had to have the cooling fan and the LCD screen replaced. Now the hard drive is failing and sony will do nothing to fix it! BUYER BEWARE!!!
Summary: I bought two sony vaios in the same month because they were known for quality products, for two months they were great, then my hard drive wipped it's self clean witch sucked becouse i had a lot of pictures and music on them, but such is life... it has been in the process of being repaired for 4 months now!
Summary: I should have listened to my colleagues and bought a Mac. But Nooooo. I had a Sony Vaio and it worked well for many years until a virus killed it's hard-drive. After much review reviewing I decided upon staying with Sony. Yea like the Ford guy who always drives a Ford. This unit just does not have any muscle to it. Slow responce time. Slow start up. Dinky speakers. So I brought it back to the store, raised alittle fuss, and they took it back.
