Summary: Quite late to post a review, However, disappointed with this purchase. Not long after the purchase the right and left click buttons were spolit, which is a major convenience. I had to have it service many times because it ran extremely slow despite not storing much or installing programs..
Summary: Like i said in the other post its a cadillac catera type of a laptop, you're paying a lot for the vaio name. Bought it for 400 on black friday and i would say it was a good deal for 400 NEW 3 years ago, wouldn't consider it a black friday deal but a GOOD deal.
Summary: I have owned this computer for almost two years now and i have not had any problems with it at all. its still fast and fufills all of my computer needs. I wish it would have came with more ram but i cant really complain. i got the computer for 400 dollars( black friday).
Summary: The best thing about this laptop is it's looks. From the first day there were sound problems, not something I expected from a Sony. The sound quality is very poor, and often times the volume is insufficient for videos.
Summary: I got this laptop for college, and it runs GREAT!! I usually have to do A LOT of research and write tons of papers, so I use the web all the time and have to use a ton of different programs. It updates itself when it needs to, and I LOOVE the keyboard (with the numbers on the side).
Summary: I own 2 Vaio laptops and one developed an issue with the USB port after 6 months of use. The computer was well cared for and so we took it to the Sony Style store in the mall and the tech had to send it out for repair.
