Excerpt: After purchasing this laptop back in March 2008 for college I have been utterly surprised by this product. First off its a Vaio which in my opinion always have been overpriced and lacking in features. Second I was slightly disappointed that Sony decided to put so much rubbish onto the laptop in the first place.
great buy and will meet easily all your day to day needs

Excerpt: I have had this sony vaio for over a year now and it is been a great buy. I am really happy with everything and haven't had a single problem since i bought it. The only downside to the laptop was that it came with Windows Vista. I'm not a big fan and i find it very difficult to to access and play around with settings and the configuration of your laptop like you could with XP. The laptop looks very stylish and beautiful and i like the textured grey finish.
Excerpt: The NR21S is a good all rounder, with good performance, graphics, and looks. PERFORMANCE The laptop is fast, with pre-loaded Vista Home edition running fine, and handling several heavy processes at once without glitch. However, as with all Windows laptops, it does overload if left on for too long or too many processes are run. The laptop does, however, have 2gb RAM, so should prove no problem for users requiring less advanced programs.
Pros: fast, good graphics, big and bright, lots of slots .
Cons: Heavy, can overload and freeze, quirky inbuilt mouse .
a good laptop that has all the features a personal mobile computer should have and more

Excerpt: I love my Sony Vaio Laptop. It is definitely one of a kind; my mum bought it for me for my birthday which has been quite a while now. I got into the shop and saw different laptops with different makes but still felt something was missing with all the ranges. I asked for help from one of the advisers and she showed me the Sony Vaio Ultra Mobile. I was definite that I wanted this as it was all I wanted in a laptop.
Excerpt: The Sony vaio is a device you can get for£ 500 or less. This is quite a notebook and it is very competence and efficient. It has a very stylish looks and has as very good graphics in terms of picture quality and brightness. I got mine some couple of months ago and I have not gotten any problems with it. The Sony product has 15.4 X -black LCD and that makes the picture a very sharp and bright one. It does all the function you might require a laptop to do.
Pros: LONG BATTERY LIFE AND GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY .
Excerpt: PLEASE NOTE THIS IS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF SOMEONE NON TECHY AND WHO'S LAST LAPTOP WAS 5YEARS OLD !!! Well firstly I'm writing this review on it so that's a good sign. We've had this for about 4 to 5 months now and had know problems at all. Now i no it's early days but does every thing we need it to.
Excerpt: A very solid notebook for everyday work. The only real problem is Vista but its all modern laptop's problem... Well, and it's not 100%25 silent like, say, Yonah based notebooks. But its the issue of all Merom based laptops because they heat more (40-70 instead of Yonah's 20-50). It has a fast core, great HDD and brilliant screen (5 out of 5 for 1 lamp laptop). Battery life is also good. The keyboard is 4,5 out of 5. Overall it's a great choice for such price.
Excerpt: I love love love this laptop, im on it write now ! its fast, has a big memory and a good LCD screen. Im a student and its perfect for me wile doing my work and chatting with friends. Its not overly expensive so a good buy.
