Sony VAIO Fit 15E Review

7 October 2013
  • Summary: The Sony Vaio Fit SVF15212SN is priced at an MRP of Rs 34,990, which we feel is a bit expensive because it comes with only 2GB of RAM. The price of a 2GB module is roughly around Rs 1,400, and pushes the total to a little more than Rs 36,000. For that price you can buy a laptop with discrete graphics and 4GB of RAM or a more powerful configuration with Intel Core i5 processor.

Sony VAIO Fit 15 SVF15212SNB

11 August 2013
  • Summary: Without doubt, the Sony VAIO Fit machines are very impressive. Particularly the one that we have tested here, the Sony VAIO Fit 15E (SVF15212SNB), with an MRP of Rs. 34,990. What you get are fairly standard specs for this price bracket, but the build quality is extremely impressive and the well sculpted looks give it a much more expensive feel. The tested battery life figures point to excellent real world performance.
  • Pros: Well-built, Very good battery life, Comfortable display, Audio performance is a strong point
  • Cons: Just 2GB of RAM, Keyboard could do with sharper response

An attractive notebook with a good set of features, but also with a few issues

Good Gear Guide.au
4 September 2013
  • Summary: The VAIO Fit 15E represents good value for money if you're after a 15in laptop that's attractive and reasonably comfortable to use. Its touchpad isn't good, and its battery life could be better considering an ultra-low voltage CPU is installed, but it has a good keyboard and a respectable set of features.
  • Pros: Attractive, Decent array of features, Good screen colours
  • Cons: Could use a bigger battery, Only single-band Wi-Fi, Poor touchpad

Expert Review

2 April 2013
  • Pros: Subwoofer integrato; Scheda grafica NVIDIA; Wi-Fi e Bluetooth; Qualità sensore fotocamera; Display touchscreen Full HD; Modulo NFC; Design
  • Cons: Autonomia; Prezzo elevato per la versione completa; Risoluzione display; Risoluzione webcam
