Summary: UGH. Why must a pretty piece of machine be such a piece of junk. From the moment I opened the box, I got a defective laptop. It squeeled extremly loud. They sent me a new one. I have never spent so much of my time trouble shooting, (llike today "repairing disks, could take over an hour") and I have only had it since late September. It's slow in comparison to my old Acer laptop and the sound quality can't even compete with my old laptop.
Summary: Bought for school and for my small business that was sustaining me through college. The laptop screen died on me, the wireless connection was also not stable (disconnects on it own). Returned it for repair and It is taking forever. This PC is beautiful but it falls short on everything else. Will never buy a sony vaio again.
Summary: My wife gave me this as a Christmas present. I have spent a lot of time moving files etc from my 7 year old computer to this one which has given me a lot of time to get used to the new computer. I have noticed that the key pad is very sensitive, to the point of the curser always jumping around. I have not found a way to decrease the sensitivity. The pad is also very large which is causing me fits when I try and click on something.
Summary: SVF1532APXB, There are several improvements over the SVF15A190X that I just returned due to Wi-Fi issues, fan noise, and hot spot in the screen, but the new model has the same Wi-Fi problems. Wi-Fi speed on my old VGN model and a Dell laptop are around 56mps download and 33mps upload. Both Vaio Fit models that I purchased average 7 to 23mps download and 28 to 32 upload. I am testing the computers within 15 feet of my router.
Summary: I have the Vaio Fit 14" with the intel i5 6 gig ram and 750 gig hard-drive. The computer is powerful, stylish, and gets everything I throw at it done. Miner lag when playing certain video games. But does amazing when I am working on large files on PhotoShop CC and AfterEffects. Highly recommend this laptop!
Summary: We bought this for our 14 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves it. She loves the touch screen. I haven't used it but she seems to love everything about it. My husband thinks the track pad could be better. It is hard to click but I guess if you use the touch screen it is not necessary to use the track pad. My daughter likes the color but I would prefer purple. Overall, I think it is a good computer for a teen.
Summary: Bought it for my niece who is in college, had it on my desk for a full month an tested every bit of it, though some of the parts show the cheap plastic SONY use to put on pretty much every one of its design, this laptop really looks nice and well built, I played full movies right from its multi-format CD/DVD drive, and streamed them form the web without any problem, Didn't find any problem with the WIFI network card as others might have posted before.
