Summary: Have now had this laptop for two years. Unfortunately, I lost the receipt, which made the warranty useless. Not docking a star for that (that would be terrible, but that's just a note. -1 star because after a year, it started going slower.
It's not a bad computer and it's still running good and silent

Summary: I've had this computer for a year and 7 or 8 months thus far. It's not a bad computer and it's still running good and silent. That's awesome considering how often and how long I'm using this computer. This is my first time with a computer other than HP and Gateway.
Summary: I don't really need a laptop much. Most everything I do can be done with an Internet Appliance, and I have two: a Google Tablet and a Chromebook. But when I need to process something on the road - like photos in Photoshop or video in Premiere, this is a great little machine.
I give nothing 5 stars unless it makes me breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Summary: I can't help but laugh at the reviewers that complained about the reflective screen, smudges, and a touchy touchpad. First off, the touch pad may have been in-fact bad; however, it may just need updated drivers.
Summary: The computer is great, my daughter is a freshman at college and loves it, although the screen cracked and i didn't get the extended warranty and within 3 months I'm now stuck with trying to get Sony to fix this and I'm upset that i have to pay for it.
Summary: Very nicely designed laptop. The screen picture is very clear, the back lit keyboard is handy in low light. The processing power is as good as a desktop. Battery life is as stated. It's not the lightest laptop, but the trade off for the larger screen size works for me as I am not traveling with it.
Summary: Something worth mentioning is just how much this laptop can be upgraded from "stock", it's the most upgradable laptop I've ever owned! I changed the i3-370M it came with for an i5-580M, which is actually pretty respectable even now.
Summary: Everything about this laptop is amazing. The Blu-ray player is very hard to find in a laptop priced under $1,000 and this one functions great. However, it loses a star because Windows 8 is the worst OS in the history of history. I would love to have had a Windows 7 option.
Summary: This laptop literally has everything you need/want at a great price. Blu Ray player, 17" screen, high def resolution, Windows 8, 1 TB space, graphics card, good amount of RAM. However I have 2 issues with this computer after enjoying it for a month.
