Summary: I don't really need a laptop much. Most everything I do can be done with an Internet Appliance, and I have two: a Google Tablet and a Chromebook. But when I need to process something on the road - like photos in Photoshop or video in Premiere, this is a great little machine. Unfortunately, I've had to replace the hard drive and keyboard, but they were relatively inexpensive and easy to install with a little help from YouTube.
Summary: Very nicely designed laptop. The screen picture is very clear, the back lit keyboard is handy in low light. The processing power is as good as a desktop. Battery life is as stated. It's not the lightest laptop, but the trade off for the larger screen size works for me as I am not traveling with it.
Summary: Everything about this laptop is amazing. The Blu-ray player is very hard to find in a laptop priced under $1,000 and this one functions great. However, it loses a star because Windows 8 is the worst OS in the history of history. I would love to have had a Windows 7 option.
Summary: This laptop literally has everything you need/want at a great price. Blu Ray player, 17" screen, high def resolution, Windows 8, 1 TB space, graphics card, good amount of RAM. However I have 2 issues with this computer after enjoying it for a month. The first is the mouse pad, it is too sensitive and will some time click on something when I am simply swiping to move the the cursor/pointer. That's fixed by using your own mouse.
Summary: I just purchased this computer a few days ago. My intention is to use it mostly for internet and maybe some light working. I think it will be perfect for that! It would also be good for managing music and photos if I were not already doing that on another computer. Likes: - Small, lightweight, super portable. Comparable to a Macbook Air or netbooks in terms of size and weight. - Sleek design - Really nice sound quality from the speakers - Lots of ports on the sides.
Summary: Little bit poor on performance but very convenient in size and very inexpensive. Good investment. I needed something portable for travel and studying(computer programing) for cheap price(used $325 on eBay). That's it. I have several peaces of Sony appliances. It's everything of very good quality.
Summary: I purchased a warehouse special deal but unfortunately it came with a version of widows that could not be activated. I was very impressed with how this was handled though as they offered to allow be to return it at no cost to me for a full refund or to pay for a new version of the software.
Summary: Too much SONY products and junk on the laptop. I have a problem with System Mechanic, It is offered as a program, bur I already have it and the SONY program keeps interfering with my own System Mechanic program.
