Summary: The specs on the website said it had high resolution screen even an HD graphic card. However, that was not the case. The colors were washed out, faded, the screen very dull, and certainly was not HD as advertised. The seller, Hyper Tech were difficult to deal with! When I requested to return the product because of the poor resolution they gave me a very hard time.
Summary: I bought a Dell 2 years prior to this, and it was still faster two years later than this brand new laptop - and they were the same price. Between Windows 8 and Sony's low quality parts, they've managed to create an absolute worthless piece of crap iPad wanna-be. Windows 7 was good; windows 8 is senseless and simply dumb. As of right now, my laptop cannot use Wifi because of a Windows update. The computer freezes A LOT, glitches A LOT, and has problems all the time.
Summary: My husband had to remove all the bloat ware from this computer because it took about 10 mins for the computer to start up and took up tons of space. the company had the audacity to offer this product bloatwear free for an extra cost. Also the computer itsself started falling apart after only 2 months. The plastic lining is all falling off. Our other laptops lasted us for years- so it's not that we are hard on our electronics- it's just a quality issue.
Summary: I'm a TV Director and spend a lot of time on my computer, and we use a lot of computers for various things. Of course we use Macs a lot, but also need to stay connected to the PC world, especially when dealing with clients and web video. Over the years we've had a few Sony Vaios, and I had a Sony laptop for my main computer that I bought back in 2003. So I know a few things about computers.
Summary: about 10 years ago, i was a sony admirer...but what can i say ..Sony went downhill...You cant buy sony just because you trust the name...I bought this pc about 1 month ago .the laptop is very very fragile ...screen got a little crack on the button right still operational ...no physical damage at all...noone knows how the crack happened...even the sony guys couldn;t explain it.. they say it could be because of preasure..
Summary: I bought this for my accountant in a different location of the country. Wanted to get Windows 7 because she's an older woman and didn't want to experiment with Windows 8. She is now having a situation where her screen goes from one full screen to 4 screens all on the same surface. She can see the information, but its 1/4 the size. I've never bought a computer before from Amazon, and not sure how I can get any help with this. What do I do?
Summary: While I wanted a laptop that was light, I did not want one that was light on computing power. It is slow to load web pages and not much better with power point presentations. Not being a computer expert, it is hard t distinguish what all of the specs mean.
Summary: I bought this Sony Vaio E-Series Laptop from Amazon and after using the laptop for sometime I have realized that when the laptop is handled or held in a particular way (not in any wrong way) it shuts off automatically resulting in the lost of information I was working on. On restart, it prompts for safe mode/normal reboot. Clearly this points in the direction of manufacture's defect.
