Summary: After 6 months the screen failed so it went back to Sony under warranty, when it arrived back 2 weeks later they have replaced the screen with an old scratched screen. after many weeks of hassle they agreed to replace the cover but not the screen... Got a phone call today to say the screen was fine and the scratches on the lid were there when it arrived... This has now been 7 weeks and we are still no where with this.
Summary: the mouse pad is very annoying. scroll button does not works , and its very slow even when I compare with my 4 years old Sony Vaio... well done Sony for producing another crap product.... It was a birthday gift for my brother now I even can't ask for return it....

Summary: I bought one of these direct from Sony a couple of months ago because I wanted one with a touchscreen and a blu-ray player which meant it had be specially built, but thought I'd review it on here as most people look on Amazon when considering purchases. I've generally found it to be pretty decent with only one issue which is the really annoying and difficult to use touchpad.
Summary: I bought one earlier this month and noted that the WiFi wasn't very fast, half the throughput of what I expected. I reported the problem to Sony who asked me to do some tests, and the WiFi ended up not working at all! I am returning the laptop for a full refund.
