Outstanding performance and features.

kvizier, Ebay
10 September 2014
  • Summary: Superb machine with outstanding performance and features. I can see why Sony discontinued this product as it was a bit pricy at full retail but it blows away the competition and its not even close. But most people want something less expensive I suppose and don't mind giving up performance and features. At any rate if you can find one buy it. Won't be disappointed.

Was a Great Choice, But a Few Irritations

Amazon Customer, Amazon
19 April 2014
  • Summary: I purchased the 13 inch convertible soon after it was released, and was somewhat worried about whether I was making the right decision. Eight or so months later, I can say I made the right choice, but there are a few irritations. I needed something that I could bring back and forth easily on research trips to various archives, so it had to be portable.

I have to say this is an amazing piece of kit

khandikane, Amazon

  • Summary: I have to say this is an amazing piece of kit! I love my Sony. It is smart sleek and really fast. I am not a high tech know it all when it comes to technology, but i was attracted to the style and the fact it is white. It comes with Windows 8 and there is an option to upgrade to 8.1 This Ultrabook is amazing. For what I use it for my PC is nearly extinct!

Powerful all-rounder laptop/tablet.

the man who turned his head, Amazon
16 July 2014
  • Summary: This is an excellent machine, very fast and the touch screen becomes increasingly useful the more you use it. I was sceptical at first having only had traditional non touch laptops and PCs, however I now find myself attempting to swipe and flick my way through Windows 8 even when I can't. The power and speed achieved from the SSD combined with the 4GB of RAM I had on my model was staggering I could use all Microsoft Office programs, Adobe CS6 and Sony Vegas with ease.

There are issues

Fangio, Amazon
5 July 2014
  • Summary: No way is it 256 GB It comes with 208GB free space because of all the junk that's pre-loaded. This is a top end machine - obviously for business use so why treat it as a toy? Who wants games, social media and daft widgets? It's not a phone it's a laptop with a tablet function. This is my 3rd Vaio. Good quality, but this one gives me doubts. I just wonder if in a year or so I can get it open and upgrade it - like I have done with my last two - I doubt it.
