Sony Vaio Duo 11 Review

21 March 2013
  • Conclusion: We’re not a fan of sliders at Digital Trends. Because they lack the functionality of a standard laptop yet also remain too heavy for comfortable tablet use, sliders have so far proven that they’re the worst form of convertible PC we’ve seen.
  • Pros: Bright display, Decent audio quality, Decent connectivity
  • Cons: Terrible keyboard, No touchpad, Short battery life, Overpriced

Review: Sony Vaio Duo 11

8 November 2012
  • Excerpt: The war of the Windows 8 hybrids — all of which will seemingly be known as “Duo” — is finally heating up, and Sony’s taking its stand on the side of the slider. Well, sort of a slider.
  • Pros: Restrained pricing for Sony. Performance is fine once you get apps going.
  • Cons: Slider feels rickety. Lots of general performance concerns. Screen auto-rotation takes forever to kick in. Keyboard is functionally useless. Sad battery life (3.5 hours). Uncommonly homely.
