Summary: This is truly a beautiful laptop. When I bought it 3 yrs ago it looked as good as a macbook without the unibody design with sexy curves but now its the bulkiest of all my other notebooks. It was sure to make somebody's head turn in a crowd with its white outer shell however that's where the praise stops. The battery is almost dead holding only 1 hr worth of charge now. The fan runs as loud as a generator and often the system just shuts down due to overheating.
Summary: I use this computer for work (MSword, PowerPoint, Excel) with no issues. Battery drains after about 5 hours of use. The God Daughter uses it to play Sims 3 with no issues. I bought this computer June 9, 2009. No failures, breaks, cracks. Just the battery does not last long...
Summary: I bought this pc about three and a half years ago, and I love it! The battery is messed up now and won't hold a charge, but I blame myself for leaving it on while charging on sleep mode. It's more for those people who are getting their first or second pc, but do not be fooled. I edit videos and play games and the pc is still running like it did back when I first bought it (more or less).
Summary: I have really enjoyed this computer, it runs well and handles everything I want it to do. It has a really sleek look that I like and is very sturdy. Mine has not had the hinge issues other reviewers report - it's a couple years old and still in great condition! I would buy this computer again.. Vaio always makes great products.
Fast Laptop - White Keys for Nightime is Great - Bluetooth Ready!

Summary: I have been using this laptop for over 6 months as a travel laptop and 2nd computer at home. This laptop is very fast and has some great features. - I love the white color. The white keys are so much easier to see at night. It doesn't require keys that light up. So many devices these days have had black colors including receivers and viewing the keys are difficult at night and I have great eyes!
Summary: I purchsed this last year and the exterior is flimsy and crumbling at the hinge. Sony has only one option for fixing this. I do not want to send this is in. I want to purchase the exterior only but they will not allow me to purchase it alone.
Summary: I bought this laptop about 3 years ago and I am mostly happy with it. The biggest benefits of this laptop is a dedicated graphics card. This allows me to play most games pre-2010 with low/medium setting including Starcraft II. The form factor is great for college students with the smaller than the usual 15.4 inch screen. I ran into serious problems with overheating when playing games or using any CPU intensive programs, and I couldn't figure out how to fix it.
Summary: I purchased the Sony Vaio VPCCW to replace my old HP laptop. Here's what I like and dislike about it. Like: It's lightweight. It's fast. I haven't found too many things that it's been unable to do. It has ably carried out the applications that I use it for most often - word processing, Internet, movies, etc. It's a sharp looking machine. Dislike: First of all, the speakers on this computer are pathetic.
Summary: Since I got this computer I always had had problems with it because the display froze and had to restart the pc in order to use it. After endless calls to sony they were not able to help and even they ended my chat sessions more than once in the middle of the conversation. Plus I never got to use the bluetooth because it just did not worked. I reinstalled all registries, software, tried using an external bluetooth and nothing. Since new, I have never used bluetooth.
Summary: i purchased my vaio based on what i thought would be quality laptop. well wasn't i surprized. the display back light failed after 13 mo. i didn't purchase the extended warranty because they are, or should be, a come on. the price to repair was over $400. how rediculous. i have owned many pc's/laptops over the years and have never had one fail within 3 yrs. i am so disappointed in sony. i will never buy anything sony - EVER.
