Summary: I changed my old Sony Vaio Core i3 for this modern core i7 and feel it is almost the same, the performance of this computer is not as good as the other computers of different brands and lower benefits as HP or DELL. The mouse leaves much to be desired, it is very hard. Applications such as Corel Draw or Photoshop CS5 X6 take too long to open. If anyone is interested in buying a computer for this category I recommend opting for a brand that has more prestige as DELL.
Summary: For the money - I expected to be a little more impressed with its performance. Not as fast as I thought it would be -- gets warm after a while on my lap -- internet/wireless connection not great....unless sitting next to router. But the thing that drives me crazy the most is the mouse pad! UGH...reminds me too much of my Toshiba that just died. I would suggest getting a wireless mouse -- Good points: Backlit keyboard is great! Display is pretty.
Summary: Totaly dissapointed with Sony providing windows 7 instead windows 8,forgot to clarify this point, now need to buy software at extra cost. The page lay out is too croweded with advertisemenrs which is a major issue, when when navigating about page.
Summary: I bought this laptop as a replacement for my faithful old LG which had given me many years great service. Overall the laptop is OK, it's not too heavy, sleek design, reasonably fast (but not as fast as I was expecting). I bought a Sony VAIO because my folks bought a 11'' for when they're on holiday and they seemed to be happy with it.
