Privacy intrusion from Sony - Advertisement Pops Up when Using Sony
2 December 2012
Summary: This and other Sony product may invades your privacy. One of the reason I've decided to purchase this Sony product was that I have been satisfy with the many Sony products I have own. This laptop's selling point was that it came with Microsoft 2010 Office starter with limited features which was fine with me. I almost installed it until I read the privacy settings on the Internet.
Summary: The worst laptop on earth. I have very bad experience with Sony Vaio laptops. Sony is good in TV and other products but not in laptops. My Sony laptop makes fan noise and it was under warranty but when asked for repair Sony texas repair center said he can not change fan and now still it makes annoying noise. Guys please never never buy any Sony Vaio, buy any other company.
Summary: Sent it back. Kept crashing. Took it to computer tech and he said that it is a problem with the hardware not communicating well with microsoft. Nothing they can do about it. He also said that sonys are very expensive to repair, the parts are very expensive. So returned it and will get something else.
Summary: I bought this laptop in September 2012. It's very slow to start up and do things. Now two months later, the screen is broken -not by physical force (it was working fine, closed the lid and came back to work after dinner, half of screen was like covered by ink). Called Sony support centre and was told that the screen never breaks by itself, definiely not covered by warranty.
