Fast, nice screen, outstanding battery life. This is what a tablet should be, and built in keyboard when you want it.

  • Summary: Outstanding battery life and speed. Starts up in 5 seconds, wakes up from sleep in 2 seconds, very nice. I upgraded to windows 8.1 and had a few issues, but that is due to Microsoft.

Not Perfect but Pretty Great

  • Summary: I have had my Duo 13 ~2 months. Love it, although not perfect. Battery life is great and weight is awesome. Love being able to type and use touch screen simultaneously -sometimes easier to use one for a particular item than the other.

  • Summary: This is very nice laptop, with great CPU/Memory performance. Very nice and comfortable slider, so you can use as a tablet. Keyboard is actually very nice (I thought it will be much worse), nice soft keys - very comfortable for me (I'm very picky for keyboard quality), trackpad is also ok - it does...

Very happy with this purchase

Chris Mr & Mrs, Amazon

  • Summary: I've had my Sony Vaio Duo 13 for about six weeks and absolutely love it. I needed something powerful enough for high end use and multitasking but also wanted the "fun" features of a tablet for reading, letting my kids do a puzzle, and other casual use.

Stay away from Sony products

hrp102, Amazon

  • Summary: I actually bought this from Sony's site. They claim WIDI support (which I need for projectors at work), but this claim is totally false. They've used a Broadcom wifi chip which apparently makes it impossible to use WIDI.

  • Summary: I was a previous sony z owner. I was looking for a light, powerful replacement of my 2 years old sony z. I must admit I was reluctant when I saw reviews about wifi issue of both sony duo and pro. but besides wifi this seemed to be exactly the one i was looking for so I decided to try my luck.

WiFi problems

Brian Groves, Amazon
7 December 2013
  • Summary: I should have read the reviews first before being sold on how great it is by the Best Buy rep. I purchased this model for my son's birthday. I got up early and went down stairs to connect it to the internet. I tried 3 or 4 times to connect and failed each time.
