Summary: WOW the active pen and sketchbook pro thogether on this computer are great. I bought only as a drawing tool, but I decided to instal office and now is my travel laptop (the other one is a movile workstation). Great batery life, great power (Even 3D studio work fine, and the render time is amazing for something that is a tablet).
Summary: It updated automatically to 8.1 which not does not connect to an outside projector or TV... Great! a presentation laptop where I can't do presentations with! WIDI does not work after and I have been back and forth to no avail To add insult to injuries, SONY announced that they were are leaving the laptop business. I wish I had knew that. Much better machines at lower price.
Summary: I should have read the reviews first before being sold on how great it is by the Best Buy rep. I purchased this model for my son's birthday. I got up early and went down stairs to connect it to the internet. I tried 3 or 4 times to connect and failed each time. Finally I went upstairs where the router is and it finally connected. Later I took it into the bed room and it would not connect again. Then I read these reviews and wish I had prior to buying it.
Summary: I used it for nearly 30 days and returned it. The IE web browser hung on it constantly. The wifi was terrible. The touch screen had troubles, too. I would touch it and nothing would happen at times. Using the device as a tablet was actually nice, but carrying it around collapsed was not comfortable. Except for the antivirus program, I liked the Sony software. Hopefully, the device I had was just defective, but I'm not positive that was the case.
Fast, nice screen, outstanding battery life. This is what a tablet should be, and built in keyboard when you want it.

Summary: Outstanding battery life and speed. Starts up in 5 seconds, wakes up from sleep in 2 seconds, very nice. I upgraded to windows 8.1 and had a few issues, but that is due to Microsoft. This is the best of both worlds, tablet and laptop, very light when you consider what your are getting, 13.3 inch screen, very cool. Feels durable, back lit keyboard works fine. I have had it about a month and wanted to give it a fair trial before rating it, updates...ect.
Summary: This is very nice laptop, with great CPU/Memory performance. Very nice and comfortable slider, so you can use as a tablet. Keyboard is actually very nice (I thought it will be much worse), nice soft keys - very comfortable for me (I'm very picky for keyboard quality), trackpad is also ok - it does its work. Speed of the laptop is overall good - I'm running python, mysql, mongo, php, apache and use it as my quick development machine.
Summary: I did not buy this at amazon as I am living in Canada, but I wanted to write a review as this device has received some mixed reviews. While largely discounted in reviews as "quirky"--I think sony's slider approach to hybrid ultrabooks is innovative and --in this model--exceptionally well implemented. The fixed viewing angle was not an issue for me. I did not encounter the dreaded wifi problems--i use an apple express basestation and got a full 5 bars.
Summary: this machine is a beauty in all respects except one - and that's a critical dimension. It is beautiful to look at, lightweight, fast processor etc. etc. But for a tablet PC to have a practically non functioning wireless adapter borders on criminal, and I paid 1900 dollars for this!! My Six year old Toshiba tablet, when placed right adjacent to this machine shows four bars when this one shows one bar, sometimes none.
