Conclusion: The Sharp MM20 is probably one of the most misunderstood products in the marketplace today. If you read other reviews on this system you will hear a lot of complaints relating to the products size, or its lack of performance. The MM20 is a specialty system that really appeals to a niche market. Our guess is that the average user will find the MM20 very lacking in features. It is not a very good desktop replacement and probably would not make a very good primary system.
Pros: Brilliant bright display; easy to sync with your desktop computer; good battery life
Cons: No built in scroll wheel; lots of dongles; not a very powerful system
Conclusion: Somewhat less adequate is what we'd call the Sharp's keyboard -- not so much because its 17mm (versus your desktop keyboard's 19mm) pitch or spacing requires some conscious care or precise typing, but because its positioning of the cursor arrows at the bottom right corner, and their pairing with the Fn key to double as Home, End, PgUp, and PgDn, fall short of ideal.
Pros: Amazingly thin and light, with decent keyboard feel and 10.4-inch display, Why can't every notebook work as a handy USB external hard drive for your desktop?
Cons: Keyboard layout guaranteed to cause typos, Sluggish performance; unimpressive battery life
