Summary: 64 GB is a good amount after you eliminate most of the MS useless apps. After some tuning with services and startup programs. You can get this tablet to run very smoothly. Would also recommend a memory manager because of the 2 GB.
Pros: Full Windows 8 no RT b.s., Long battery life, usb port, HDMI port, micro sd slot, responsive UI with somewhat quick tilt screen sensor. Fast boot times. Front and back camera.
Cons: Touch screen lags a bit, wi-fi speeds could be better. Camera functions could be better. Chrome doesn't run as fast as it should. Intel Atom so no heavy apps.
Summary: Ok ok I've been using regular old windows user for years and this is my first tile experience. All I can say about is BLEAH. Get yourself something with Windows 7 if you don't want to spend half your time swiping away. Otherwise a very nice little table with beautiful color. But those tiles...
Summary: This is not a technical review, just a few comments about it from someone used to a PC. The tablet works ok, the keyboard sticks and the touchscreen can be a bit temperamental. Windows 8 is a plus and the 4G is surprisingly convenient. I thought about returning it because of the keyboard and the fact that it crashes more often than it should, but I did not find a suitable replacement. I am sure a better version of this one will be out soon, but I needed a tablet now.
Summary: The tablet itself is very good. It works fast and can do everything that the usual PC does. On the other hand, there are a lot of disappointing things around it. At first, Windows Update doesn't work properly on that tablet. The second dissapointment was the problem with the dock. It disconects with every movement and that makes it hard to use. Youtube can't load 1080p videos and it often lagging if you are watching videos not fullscreen. Camera app is awful.
Summary: Its a great device for this price. Performance if too good. The only glitch with the PC is that the audio does not work sometimes. When I work for an hour or so on this PC and then try to play some game or watch a movie, the audio does not play. I need to restart the PC before I can hear something. I hope Samsung guys are reading this and let me a solution so that it can be fixed.
Summary: If you want to use this device with the attachable keyboard and mainly use this as a laptop on a daily basis is a no no no. 1. The attachable keyboard doesn't respond as fast as other laptops 2. Some programs runs quirky and the others are normal. Video streaming on youtube.com is nice. The LCD screen on the tablet is nice and bright.
Summary: Previous tablet experience: 2 years with a 1st-Gen Ipad and then a recent purchase of a Lenovo Thinkpad 2, which I returned to the seller because of a broken speaker as well as other dissatisfactions. Laptop experience: a 2-year old Lenovo 14-inch Thinkpad and a Dell Latitude, both of which I am very satisfied with. Skype experience: several laptops and an Iphone 4s. Overall assessment -- As a general-use tablet, it's still a good option at the price I paid ($500).
