Summary: I love this product. I don't use the touchscreen as much as I thought I would. I don't love the keyboard. I love everything else about it. It is fast. It opens quickly. Has Wifi built in. I did not buy it from Amazon, but I would have. I have seen the negatives put in some reviews. They said it wobbles when you use the touchscreen. They obviously do not have a smartphone. Once you are used to typing on a screen on a phone, this one is easy.
Summary: The good of this outweighs the negative by far. The Bad: The monitor was a bit wobbly. The touch sensitive button for ejecting the disc on the base went out after a year. The Keyboard/Mouse looked wonderful, but didn't function very well after a few months. The Good: Always ran quickly for everything I used it for -- Photoshop, Lightroom, Steam Games, web browsing, etc.
Summary: From day one we faced problems that the wireless keyboard and mouse didn't work, so we had to call Samsung and received a replacement parts. Even thought the replaced wireless mouse finally worked, we do NOT like the mouse at all. We end up use our very old wired mouse ( I guess this mouse is at least 8 years old). The second problem is that the way the screen mount is not very stable. In a word, we will never buy Samsung computer again.
Summary: In fact, if I could give this laptop a 4 1/2 stars I would. Everything about it screams premium. I'll start with the construction. Sturdy. Sleek. Premium. There's no fancy, illuminated logo, but there is a nice, brushed aluminum top and palm rest combined with a plastic bottom. Now while I would've loved for an all-aluminum body, plastic is understandable as it doesn't radiate as much heat. So it makes sense. When opened, the laptop has a smooth, even looked.
Summary: The Samsung Series 7 gives you a near-macbook-pro laptop at half the price. The back-lit keyboard, long battery life, and aggressive power saving features make this notebook one that you'll carry around with you. One of the odder things that I liked was how close the screen is to the edge of the case. It meant that relative to the size of the computer you're getting more screen space! The sensitivity of the keyboard and touchpad are great.
Summary: There are some great things about this computer and some bad. First the good. It has a beautiful, huge screen that is a pleasure watching videos and even movies on. It is very fast and things load very quickly. It takes up very little space and the disc drive port is very convenient - right on the front of the computer. Now the bad. It has crashed three times in the seven months that I have owned it and I have had to completely reinstall everything.
Summary: Computer is very nice and fast, love the big screen, great graphics. Only problem I've had is the wireless keyboard doesn't always work, fortunately it has touchscreen keyboard so you're not dead in the water. Would highly recommend purchasing Geek Squad coverage.
