Summary: I have had this laptop for almost two years now and I can quite honestly say that it is one of the best laptops I have ever owned. It has been so reliable and I have never had a problem with it. If I'm honest I'm not the biggest fan of windows 8 but most laptops run off it nowadays so nothing to do with the laptop itself. The laptop is well powered and has a great graphics card on it so any games you play look great! The laptop starts up very quick and is really quiet.
Pros: speed, ease of use, battery life, reliability
Sod's Law ... developed a fault after the warranty ran out

Summary: ... 12 months after buying, i had to replace the hard drive. ok for watching live streaming although will depend on broadband speed, running word processors, picture editing but struggles with video editing. it's a celeron processor so as expected. i hate the mousepad, cursor jumps and scrolls the screen unnecessarily. fan and hard drive (western digital) is pretty quiet. the back of the screen is glossy, you can happily leave your fingerprints for the CSI.
Pros: reasonable processing speed when doing simple tasks and web browsing
Summary: Agree with above poster. DO NOT BUY this laptap. It's a pig. I bought it as a backup for my desktop. It's only been booted up about 50 times in one year. In the last two weeks (since my desktop crashed) it's crashed three times. Finally today it needed a Complete Restore meaning I've lost abolutely everything. Samsung support only leads to a page advertising more Samsung products. It sucks and Samsung sucks. As a customer they wont see me again.

Summary: I bought this laptop two and a half years ago to take to university with me and it is still going strong, although I do think I will have to replace it within the next year or so. The only problem I have with it this that the bottom of it can get extremely hot, which can become quite uncomfortable if you are resting the laptop on your lap, and when it is attempting to cool down it can become a bit noisy.
Summary: I take my hat off to the Samsung RV510 laptop. It was bought t three years ago and it is running as well now as it did then. I was very pleased when I bought it and remain very pleased now. It has really given me GREAT service. The RV510 was and still is a brilliant piece of technology. At its heart is an Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor and an integrated Intel graphics card giving me all the processing power and graphics quality that I need.
Summary: I got this laptop almost 3 years ago and it has lasted well. It's pretty much been to hell and back with the way I treat it. Even though it's not built for CPU/RAM hogging programs, that doesn't stop me running photoshop or flash cs6 with google chrome playing some music on youtube in the background all day every day.
